The ‘Messages’ window in the bottom part displays the simulation time-steps. You may notice
that the simulation time-steps reduce when the nonlinearity of the system increases. It is
typically the case when a new well starts (here when the injector is starting one year after the
beginning of the simulation) or when a phase appears/disappears during the simulation.
In this example, initial depletion due to production leads to gas vaporization in the oil zone
while further pressure support and re-pressurization from the water injection lead to gas re-
condensation in the same zone (gas is also mobilized from this region to the gas gap, however
the same run without water injection shows a finite final gas saturation in the oil zone, as
opposed to the present case). This is illustrated on figures C01.32 and C01.33.
