• New Document Creation
The Thermal model is selected in the ‘Field infos’ dialog. Start a new project in Rubis by
clicking on the new project button :

Check the box ‘Thermal Model’. This enables both the single phase and the multiphases
compositional model depending on the PVT context. Click ‘OK’ to validate.
C01.2 • PVT Initialization
Click now on the PVT icon
in the simulation page. The PVT definition dialog appears. As
the Thermal option has been developed for both single-phase flow and for multiphases
compositional situations, the PVT dialog is restricted to the following:

Dead Oil
(single-phase)
o
Dry Gas
(single-phase)
o
Water
(single-phase)
o
EOS (Peng-Robinson)
(Compositional Hydrocarbon)
o
EOS (Peng-Robinson) + Water
(Compositional Hydrocarbon + Water)
