Remain in the ‘Reservoir- Properties’ dialog and select the ‘Default’ property set.
Click on the initial state icon
. As the context is single-phase, the definition of the initial
state is quite simple:

Set the reference pressure to 5000 psia at reference depth 8000 feet, and accept by clicking
on OK.

Remain in the ‘Reservoir- Properties’ dialog and click on the geothermal gradient icon

By default, a constant gradient is required, with a reference temperature at reference depth:
