B03 • Analysis of Well GAS UNIT-A4
We will now proceed with the analysis of another well in the same document. In the Multiwell
tab, select the gas phase of the well „GAS UNIT-A4‟ and click on analyze. In the following
dialog („Analysis information‟) choose to initialize the PVT from the already existing analysis
„SOUTH-P “F9_G_1‟: . Accept the default parameters.
Click on OK to create the analysis:

Extract the data between 6825 and 8766 days, with an initial pressure of 640 psia. Perform an
auto-model and an auto-improve to match the gas rates with an analytical solution simulating
a vertical well centered in a circular reservoir:

The production forecast at this well will not be performed now but in a later step (while
building the field profile).
