All extracted build-ups can be matched with a positive skin of +2.15. On the other hand, it can
be seen on the history plot that the infinite acting reservoir model is not able to reproduce the
long-term declining pressure trend visible on the data, as a closed model would.
Create now a new analysis by copy of the “Analytical” one, and name it “Numerical linear”.
Open the Model dialog (
), switch to the numerical tab in order to check that the contour
geometry has indeed been carried over from the initial sector analysis:

Click on Generate, and after the model is simulated maximize the history plot. Use the
“Compare analyses” option ( ) to compare both analytical numerical linear models:
