The cause for this is quite obviously rate dependent skin. The model was generated with a
constant skin determined after the rate at some 6 MMSCF/D and this skin does not apply for
the other rates.

C01.1 • Skin versus rate
One method to determine the rate dependency is to
plot skin versus rate, determining the skin without
turbulence (S0) and the slope (dS/dq). Saphir can
make this plot automatically if you extract all the
periods or in this case the buildups that are less
noisy. You estimate where the infinite acting radial
flow is located and place multiple semilog straight
lines in this place.
Go to the Group droplist in the toolbar and choose
'List' (
). Select all the buildups
as indicated in the figure to the left. Click OK.
