 Press on the tab ‘Alarm’ and check ‘Use this derived channel as an alarm’, and set the
dialog as follows:
 Set particularly the type of alarm to ‘Historical’ that allows scanning data situated in the
past, starting from the specified date (23/04/2001). (‘Instantaneous’ type scans only the
newly imported data from now.)
We can set the alarm to send a warning message to the person in charge. You will need to add
a valid email address for the mail recipient.

At the beginning of the scan the ‘Alarm node’ appears as before any limit value was
detected, then appears as when the logical function is ‘true’.
The alarm turns to when the logical function was true in the past but is false currently.
The logical function can be built for multiple purposes, for example for detecting an abnormal
noise or when the user wishes to consider the difference of amplitude between two data
channel.
Use the 'Advanced' option to set the email frequency. Depending on the choice you will receive
an email notification.
